Whaea Rae taught me how to weave a Māori Korowai. It was an amazing experience to connect and share stories in the weaving circle during those 36 hours. Next week I start Mau rākau and February brings Te Reo classes as I prepare for my 4 months in Aotearoa at the end of the year.
