He kākano āhau wins national award

Text below is paraphrased from Sophie's email notification. My artwork 'Touching the Mauri' (Randell 2018) was commissioned for this project.

Logan Art Gallery is thrilled to receive a national Australian Museums and Galleries Association award for 'He kākano āhau.' The exhibition project won the ‘Temporary or travelling exhibition’ category.

Creative Industries Manager Annette Turner and Program Leader Robyn Daw accepted the award at the AMaGA conference in Alice Springs, and acknowledged and thanked all artists, Amy and Elders during their speech. Below you can find the link to the official press release and the Australian Museums and Galleries Australia website.
